THE BUFFET CAR
 
 
The Buffet Car is under Arch 13 Viaduct Estate north of Carlisle Carlisle Station. Monday to Saturday 9 to 4, & some sundays throughout the year.
 
 
Joe's Halt sees a passing of L.M.S tank loco 16440.
 
 
The country station building is supplied by C&M Models of Carlisle, the anex by Jacksons Models Wigton.
 
 
The trains are runnig well so order a meal, home made by Joe.

Joe's 00 model railway is 18+1ft and runs on a shuttle so the train operates all day. 
 
 
The canal is a feature on the layout with varnish use for the water effect.
 
 
You also get real sounds from above when the trains pass over. 
 
 
Hot dog & chips just what the Doc ordered.
 
 
By Car to the traffic lights at Victoria viaduct, right lane, turn sharp right head by the car park follow the railway arches down to Joe's is the last one No 13. 
 
Also you can walk there.
 From the town centre. Go through the Binns lane to the back of M&S. turn left towards the Sportsman Pub. Head down the lane towards West Walls over looking the railway. go down the steps to the car park and through the arch turn left.
