After a quite week in Carlisle station the weekend saw a return to the 1960s with three charters visiting the Citadel.

47798 Prince William and 47843 Vulcan arrive at Carlisle in glorious sunshine.

On the return journey,s 47851 Traction Magazine & 47839 Pegasus.

Two Pendolino,s are termimated at Carlisle owing to the main line closed at Lockerbie.
